we drew the floor plan

for the apartment that I shall be living in. I sent the plans to Karin (so she could see what her house would look like). I like it, mostly. I prefer more walls... I'm kind of a catacombs type of guy, but it's ok. The shower is a lot bigger than that tiny icon we found to represent shower, just fyi.

Mike and I will start framing the walls in tomorrow, and hopefully run the wires for electricity as well. If we get ambitious, we'll hang some sheetrock while we're at it.

We did some, well, most of the demolition work earlier tonight. Took about 30 minutes to rip out all the excess shelves left in by the previous owners, tear a hole in an existing wall (for the closet door), and to remove some furing strips. Good luck to me.

heh... I feel stupid.

I got some late-pay from UMW PD today. I took jacy to lunch (as promised), purchased a fourth and final controller for the X-box (as promised), and bought a pair of heelies (possibly stupidly).

David (already owns a pair) and I were heeling down the sidewalk in front of our house just now. There aren't many streetlights, and evidently there's a hole in one part of the sidewalk. Our sidewalk has a nice slope downward. We were running from the top of the hill, kicking up, and heeling down. I found the hole. Hard.

So now my left shoulder, left arm, left knee, and both plams burn. I laughed at myself though. That's what I get for trying to be a 15 year old.

Aside from hurting when it falls. Heelies rock. The model I got looks like a pair of nubalance shoes, so you can't actually tell they're heelies. Good for fun and normal use. ;)

...

As a belated Christmas present, my nine year old sister got a puppy on the 6'th of April this year. A beautiful, purebred, chocolate lab. Pretty little dog.

I went back to school at Hell, 4'th level, also known as UMW. I returned to Alabama a couple weeks ago. That puppy is about 4 times as big as she was, and my siblings had no idea what to do with her...

She's like a spoiled child. We got it straight early on that she doesn't bite me, and she usually listens to me. But only me. She won't really obey any of the other kids.

I love her to death... I've always wanted a dog, and I love this one. But man, training her is hard work! We finally have "sit", "stay", "off" (though she only does it when she feels like it), and "come" learned pretty well.... We're trying to learn "kennel", "down", "wait", and "heel".

Aside from waking to a little brown canine face in mine every morning (I sleep on the couch downstairs in her room), nothing else is really going on.

Except the 16 days left till my wedding. Which seem to drag by at a snails pace, but fly by in retrospect. Reminds me of OCS. Every day there felt like it took forever, and yet when I graduated it felt like I had just run my initial PFT the day before.

My first entry

Is blank. I have nothing to say, but I want an entry.
